Our CorrespondentKohima, Nov. 9 (EMN): Kiruphema Youth Organisation (KYO) defeated St. Joseph’s College (SJC) Jakhama in the opening league match of the Kohima Open Volleyball Tournament 2022 (men and women) at Indira Gandhi Stadium (IGS) Kohima on Wednesday. KYO beat SJC in direct sets 25-21, 25-14, 25-21. Meanwhile, Kezo town beat Vision Quest Club, VK Town 29-27 25-20 25-19. In the women’s category, defending champions Mystic Club, Kohima lost to Senapati, Manipur in direct sets 25-12, 25-7, 25-17. A total of 15 teams (10 men and 5 women teams) are competing for the coveted title.
