There have been 46,918 negative tests in total, with 4,007 recorded this week, and 2,097 the previous week.
There were no new deaths reported in the last 24 hours. There have, however, been 35 deaths in the last week, which account for one-fifth of the cumulative total of deaths in Erie County occurring this week alone, for an average of five deaths per day.
Last week, 53 deaths were reported. The number of deaths during the last two weeks account for more than 51% of our total number of deaths since the pandemic began.
