I have recently been lead to the Book of Yashar (Jasher), or the Upright Record . It is not Canon, but was referenced at least twice in Canon Scripture. Nothing I have seen so far contradicts the Canon Scriptures, and it explains things that are not explained in Canon Scriptures. For example: Cain s offered the inferior fruit of the ground (Yasher 1:16) and that is why his offering was rejected.
Another Bible story that is more fully explained is the building of the Ark and the ministry of Noah and his grandfather Methuselah during that time. Yashar 5 states several times that those who followed YHWH died before the Flood so they would not feel the wrath of YHWH. ....
