On Day 1, the tournament attracted 6,490 entries with 1,580 players surviving with chips for Day 2. As the late registration and reentry period was open until just before the start of Day 2, another 432 players decided to jump in to get to 6,922 entries in total out of 5,292 unique players who reentered 1,630 times.
