3 fake PAs of central and state ministers busted in Gujarat within a week

Over the last few months, Gujarat’s repertoire has been tarnished with cases of fake commodities, offices, officials or even toll booths, coming to light. The latest entrant is the case of fake personal assistants (PA) of a central minister, a minister of state, and a home minister of the state.

A drunken man posing as the personal assistant to the home minister was arrested along with two others in Vadodara. The trio got into a brawl with a cop and assaulted him near Golden Chowkdi. The man claimed to be the personal assistant of the home minister and threatened to get the constable transferred. However, it was later revealed that he was not a government employee and had previously worked as a driver for the police. The trio has been booked for assaulting the police and under the Prohibition Act.

According to the police, the accused, identified as Vadodara residents Varun Patel, Aakash Patel and Pinakin Patel, allegedly assaulted the traffic police driver and threatened to "transfer" the two personnel who accosted them "within a day".
