The memorial service for Darrel Kent Waters will be held at First Unitarian Universalist Church in Rochester, with the Rev. Luke Stevens-Royer officiating, on Saturday, November19, 2022, at 1:00 PM. Visitation will be held an hour before the service, at the Church. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Austin, Minnesota, at a later date.
Donna Jean (Baier) Cramer, 83, of Chatfield, MN passed away peacefully on October 13, 2022. Donna was born on January 6, 1939 to Louie A. Baier Jr. and Mildred (Drinkall) Baier in Chatfield, MN. She was raised on the family farm, located in west Chatfield, which was the home of her parents, grandparents Louie Sr. and Bertha Baier, and great grandparents Frank and Wilhelmina Baier, who purchased the land after immigrating from Germany in the mid-1800s. Frank and Wilhelmina owned and operated Chatfield’s first meat locker alongside farming.

Gerald F (Jerry) Baudoin, 93, passed away on December 30, 2021, at the Chosen Valley Care Center in Chatfield. Jerry was born on June 19, 1928, the son of Albert and Coral (Johnston) Baudoin in Hayfield, MN. Jerry grew up in the hard times of the depression, which instilled in him the value of hard work. He attended rural schools in Dodge County, as well as Dodge Center HS. Prior to graduation, Jerry enlisted in the US Navy, but he subsequently received his GED. Jerry was a marketer for the Sinclair Oil Company for over 20 years and subsequently sold real estate for 15 years, while also owning a Coast To Coast hardware store.
