The
Salon Piano Series returns with a concert filmed at Luther Memorial Church (and featuring a piano restored by series hosts Farleyâs House of Pianos). Music by Beethoven, Scarlatti and others will be performed by
Kangwoo Jin, a performer in concerts and festivals around the world and a recent Collins Distinguished Fellowship doctoral student at UW-Madison. Jin is also a longtime educator and currently a faculty member at the UW-Madison Division of Continuing Studies. Find tickets ($10)
e: This Salon Piano Series concert will be recorded at Luther Memorial church in Madison. Jin will play a Mason & Hamlin piano which was restored by Farleyâs House of Pianos for Luther Memorial. The complete program includes works by Scarlatti, Beethoven, Liszt, Robert Schumann, and Henry Bishop.
