New York state has been awarded some of the first federal funding through the CHIPS & Science Act to its boost semiconductor industry, state and federal lawmakers announced on Wednesday. U.S. Senate Majority Leader Charles Schumer and Gov. Kathy Hochul announced the $40 million allocation thr
