The government has secured $145 million credit financing from the World Bank to fund the delivery of urban infrastructure in 35 metropolitan, municipal and district assemblies (MMDAs).
According to Thalis, their plan for the Barangaroo precinct prioritised public interest by proposing new public transport, well-connected streets, parklands, and several community facilities including buildings, theatres, outdoor event spaces, public art and more.
