Good monday morning, im Marci Gonzalez in for diana perez. And im john muller. We begin with another polar blast poised to hammer much of the country not once, but twice this week. By friday, temperatures will be 30 degrees below where they were this weekend. Take a look at boston. Temperatures in the 50s. Runners hit the streets wearing shorts. But by sunrise, theyll be waking up shivering, with highs only in the 30s. The weather did little to help dozens of ice fishermen stranded for three days in Upper Red Lake in minnesota. High winds blew the snow four to seven feet high against the ice houses where they were staying. We had drifts from 4 to 7 1 2 feet tall. Our house was almost underneath a drift.
