Penn State To Continue Offering COVID-19 Testing Through Summer

Both Hintz Family Alumni Center and Pegula Ice Arena will offer testing with reduced hours throughout May. Starting in June, only Pegula will offer drop-in testing. The summer drop-in testing schedule is as follows: May 10-28: 9 a.m. through 4 p.m., Monday through Friday at Hintz and Pegula May 13-15: Drop-in testing at Pegula closed May 31: Both sites closed for Memorial Day Starting June 1: Hintz closed. Drop-in testing is available from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday, at Pegula. More testing updates will be announced in June, according to Penn State. Summer drop-in COVID-19 testing schedule announced for University Park As of May 10, drop-in testing will be available at Pegula Ice Arena and the Hintz Family Alumni Center from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. With students remaining on campus for Maymester and the beginning of summer classes, Penn State’s COVID-19 Operations Control Center has announced the schedule for drop-in COVID-19 testing at University Park through late June. This is in addition to the required weekly testing that students in residence halls must complete if full vaccination status is not provided to the University.

Coronavirus: Feeling sick? Here's what to do | Penn State University

Faculty and staff should quarantine at home. Students living on campus will quarantine in space identified on their campus. Case managers will evaluate quarantine needs for students living off campus as part of the contact tracing process. During quarantine, you may or may not develop symptoms of COVID-19. Employees who do experience symptoms should contact their health care provider. Students can contact University Health Services, their campus health center or their primary care provider. If I don’t have symptoms or think I may have been exposed, can I be tested for COVID-19? Contact your health care provider to discuss testing options. At the University Park campus, Penn State is offering walk-up testing to all undergraduate and graduate students. At the
