Confusion over CDC change to US mask mandate | Sky News Australia

Confusion over CDC change to US mask mandate 19/05/2021|2min New guidelines issued by the United States’ Centre for Disease Control are prompting many states and cities to suspend their mask mandate – however the easing of restrictions is causing confusion. The CDC now say it is safe for fully vaccinated people to take off their masks in public. While most states are complying with the guidelines some say they are still examining the data and will only lift the mask mandate when they are satisfied infection rates won’t rise as a result. Business owners have also raised concerns they will be left with the responsibility of determining who has and has not been vaccinated.
