Home Affairs says it s been granted a court interdict stopping undertakers from causing any further disruptions at its branches.
Funeral practitioners under the banner of the Unification Task Team (UTT) have been protesting since Tuesday over some regulations.
The UTT says they want permanent permits that will allow funeral parlours to remove bodies from hospitals and mortuaries.
They also want to be able to register deaths on behalf of families.
Some Home Affairs branches have been forced to close because of the protests.
