Curtis says business is ok but he wants to stay open until 1 in the morning.
“The data does not show bars and restaurants are a hot spot. Why 11 p.m.? If we re able to be open and be at 50 percent capacity, why do we have to close at 11?” Sorenson said.

After the four week pause, the Lake Superior Zoo is ready to reopen again.
Under Governor Walz s new guidelines, outdoor entertainment is a go, starting Saturday.
Haley Cope, executive director at the zoo, said, We already have an outdoor experience plan put together from earlier this year, when we opened this summer. We ve been able to modify it for winter operations. And we got tickets online, so we are ready to welcome people back to the zoo this weekend.
She said that the animals have missed the people coming by to say hi, and that the zookeepers are doing more enrichment to keep them engaged.
