BROCKTON While investigating a series of armed robberies in the city, police arrested two Brockton men in connection with an armed robbery at a gas station and seized a loaded gun and ammunition from them. Police may file additional charges as Brockton Detectives investigate whether these suspects are responsible for other armed robberies in the city. Police investigations are also underway in Fall River, Randolph, Quincy, and Boston, Brockton police said.
Claudio Ribeiro Dossantos, 21, and Ezequiel Gomes, 24, both of Brockton, were arrested in a parking lot on South Main Street shortly before 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 16. One had a loaded 9-millimeter pistol, police said, and neither had a license to carry.
