Blake Shelton announces Friends and Heroes tour, reschedules Milwaukee show for October
But on Wednesday, the country superstar announced he s making his way back to Milwaukee.
Shelton announced a 17-date Friends and Heroes 2021 tour Wednesday morning. Trace Adkins is still on the bill, but the other acts that were part of the 2020 run have been replaced by Martina McBride, Tracy Byrd and Lindsay Ell.
He ll be at Fiserv Forum Oct. 2, the tour s final night. He ll also have new music to share from a new album, Body Language, out this Friday.
Previously purchased tickets for the postponed Milwaukee show will be honored, and additional tickets are on sale now at the box office (1111 N. Phillips Ave.) and
Country singer Morgan Wallen announced Tuesday he wouldn t be performing this summer, two months after a video surfaced of him shouting a racial slur in Nashville. I found this time away to be very valuable to me in many ways, but I feel like I need a little more it, and therefore will not be performing tour dates this summer, Wallen said in a letter posted to Twitter.
Big Loud Records, Wallen s record label, suspended him following the incident. He then posted an apology video to YouTube, where he asked his followers who defended him to stop.
Wallen had been set to open for Luke Bryan s Proud To Be Right Here tour that was originally scheduled for the summer of 2020 and pushed back due to the coronavirus pandemic.
