It s tuesday, january 14th. from abc news, this is world news now. good morning. i m marci gonzalez in for diana perez. and i m john muller. we begin with the tragedy inside a south florida movie theater. a father shot to death in an apparent argument over texting. perhaps more shocking is that the alleged shooter is a retired police officer. abc s larry jacobs has more. reporter: the shooting happened at this movie theater after an argument over texting. the gunman, retired tampa police officer, curtis reeves and his wife, waiting for the movie lone survivor to begin. police say chad and nicole olson were sitting in front of reeves, also using a cell phone and would not turn it off when reeves asked him to. so reeves went to get a manager. he came back very irritated without theater management. they started arguing again about the cell phone. ....
