And every year the green-fingered descend on Chelsea in their thousands to swap notes on the latest trends in garden design and fads in flower arranging. The Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) Chelsea Flower Show ran from May 20 to 23 but Dartford gardener Kevin Cooper, 59, of Summerhill Road, submitted his application, design and planting plan to the RHS last summer.
