Yellowknife's municipal election is now days away, but some residents say they still haven't received their ballots, and another says he has too many. It comes as the city, for the first time, opted to hold the election primarily by mail-in ballot.
DataFix mailed the ballots on Oct. 3, and they began appearing in residents' mailboxes Friday, giving residents less than a week to cast their ballots through the mail.
Yellowknife is holding a vote-by-mail election for the first time, but less than two weeks before election day, residents were reporting that they hadn't yet received a ballot in the mail.
