Several plants and birds were embedded in the mural: Mamaku, Tree Fuschia, Kākā, Kākāriki, Little Spotted Kiwi and Tītipounamu. The background shows Karori’s geographical landscape in the meeting point of the two continental plates beneath our feet; the Australian and Pacific plates.
