The Pennsylvania Senate passed a bill that would undo the automatic gas tax increase for 2023 and reset the average wholesale price of gas to its pre-2022 levels. Pennsylvania's fuel taxes are among the highest in the United States, and they're set to increase on Jan. 1, 2023. The gas tax will jump from about 58 cents per gallon to more than 61 cents per gallon. The diesel fuel tax will rise from 74 cents per gallon to 78.5 cents per gallon. Gov.
