Dense fog and cold wave conditions disrupted air and rail traffic in North India. Several flights and trains to Delhi were delayed or cancelled as zero visibility was recorded at Delhi IGI Airport.
Cold wave in India: Very dense fog was reported in isolated parts of Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, west Uttar Pradesh and northwest Madhya Pradesh on Wednesday late night, according to the IMD.
Trains Cancelled on December 23: Indian Railways has cancelled 201 trains today, December 23. Along with that, the railway has also partially cancelled 40 trains.
