Congress should objectively debate the merits both of approving andimplementing the U.S.-Bahrain Free Trade Agreement and ofsupporting U.S. leadership and negotiations in the WTO Doha Round.Domestic priorities, such as fostering economic growth and jobs andopening foreign markets for American farmers and manufacturers,fully mesh with negotiator's efforts to promote tradeliberalization.
