Forget the balloons, streamers, and painted cars, for students and staff in the Springfield Local School District, the end of the academic year means driving the family tractor to school.
“The care center even canceled its activity for Friday because they knew the tractors were coming,” the former teacher s mother said. “Those kids who came are a pretty special group.”
