Bigfoot Festival Invading Townsend

May 19, 2021 | 12:07 PM (TOWNSEND, TN) – Townsend will be the setting for the inaugural Smoky Mountain Bigfoot Festival. It’s a full-day event packed with entertainment for the whole family. Leading up to the main event, the Tennessee Smokies will host Smoky Mountain Bigfoot Festival Night at the Smokies on Friday, May 21.  Attendees can get a selfie with Bigfoot, watch fireworks after the game and win free Bigfoot merchandise allowing attendees already in town for the festival to enjoy Friday night entertainment. Bigfoot race organizers will be on hand to register racers for the Great Smoky Mountain Bigfoot 5K and Fun Run taking

Bigfoot festival an impressive feat for Blount County

A new festival in Tennessee next month could be the missing link between you and a good time. Set appropriately at the foot of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park in Townsend, the The Smoky Mountain Bigfoot Festival is a full-day event for the whole family. On the morning of May 22, the Bigfoot 5k and one-mile fun run will lead up to the official festival start at noon. Golf tournament to benefit Area 33 Special Olympics SEVIERVILLE — The Sevier County Gifted Olympians Lifelong Friends League is hosting its annual golf tournament at Sevierville Golf Club. The event was rescheduled from March 31 to Wednesday, April 14. Registration for the two-man scramble is $190 per team.
