The Town of Santee continues to grow, according to county leaders. Since 2023, 447 people have moved to Orangeburg County. 122 of them now call Santee home.
HOLLY HILL – Orangeburg and Berkeley county officials are celebrating the start of a project designed to bring clean drinking water to rural residents and promote economic development.
The Town of Santee will celebrate its 75th anniversary in April with several days of events for all ages. The events will include fireworks, a movie night, a golf tournament, a gala, a gospel music festival, a prayer breakfast, and a fun festival featuring amusement rides, entertainment, and food trucks.
“Infrastructure” is a fancy word that refers to various types of connectors such as roadways; the Internet; and water-bearing systems such as ditches, water lines, sewer lines, and stormwater lines.
