The death toll climbed to 4,56,386 with 733 fresh fatalities including 622 from Kerala, according to the Union Health Ministry data updated on Thursday.
Malls and shops in Pune will be open from Monday till 7 pm. Hotels, restaurants, and eateries can also function till 10 pm for dine-in with 50 per cent seating capacity by adhering to social-distancing norms.
In the first 15 days of May, India reported 58,431 deaths at a CFR of 1.06 per cent. However, in the next 14 days (May 16-29), the country lost 55,688 citizens at a CFR of 1.73 per cent, health ministry data show.
