Mayor to Reward LEPT Topnotchers from Himamaylan with Cash Incentives
Himamaylan's topnotchers in the September 2023 Licensure Examinations for Professional Teachers, Shiela Marie Delgado and Jeriel Grace Mabulay, will be honored by City Mayor Raymund Tongson with P10,000 each. The West Visayas State University-Himamaylan Campus graduates ranked 7th and 9th, respectively, out of 87 exam takers in the Elementary Level’s Top 10. The ceremony is set for Friday, December 15, where they will receive their incentives. WVSU-Himamaylan also achieved a 100% passing rate among its 44 first-time takers, with an overall performance rating of 95%. Mayor Tongson lauded the topnotchers and their batchmates, citing the success as a result of quality education and city government support. Delgado and Mabulay, both WVSU graduates, serve as inspirations for future academic achievers in Himamaylan. (PR)
