On Friday, May 3, SCSD#1 held ceremony honoring Retirees, Teachers and Staff in the auditorium at Tongue River High School. In his introduction, SCSD#1 Superintendent talked about the teachers and staff in the district.

In a short meeting, SCSD#1, Ranchester/Big Horn board of trustees, heard from one visitor, John Bridges, who talked about several petitions that had been submitted concerning proposed changes to policies concerning rights of parents and the teaching of controversial issues. These had been submitted
Solution Tree, an education company that does Professional Learning Community training, recently named Tongue River High School as a Model Professional Learning (PLC) at Work Community School on March 27. In 2022, Tongue River Elementary also achieved the award.
