The fair will take place from September 9-12, 2021 at the state-of-the-art Javits Center – The Armory Show’s new, permanent venue, as announced in March 2020 during last year’s edition. The fair will offer an enhanced in-person experience for exhibitors, collectors, and New York’s cultural community. For the first time, all exhibitors at The Armory Show will be integrated under one roof. Renowned architects Frederick Fisher and Partners have designed an open floor plan spanning three halls with unobstructed sightlines and spacious lounges. No Ocean Between Us Opens at San Antonio Museum of Art Published: February 12, 2021 San Antonio Museum of Art’s newest exhibit takes visitors on a geographical journey through the work of Latin American and Caribbean artists of Asian descent as it explores how migration and diaspora impact their work and experiences. Open Friday, Feb. 12, No Ocean Between Us: Art of Asian Diasporas in Latin America & The Caribbean, 1945–Present features about 65 modern and contemporary works in the form of paintings, installations, new media and more. The exhibit is organized mostly geographically, planting viewers in Argentina before traveling north to Brazil and then following the artists through Peru, Mexico, Cuba, Jamaica, Panama, Guyana, Suriname and Trinidad and Tobago.

In “‘No Ocean Between Us’ exhibition to feature modern and contemporary art by Latin American and Caribbean artists of Asian descent” “No Ocean Between Us: Art of Asian Diasporas in Latin America & the Caribbean, 1945-Present” which will be on view at the San Antonio Museum of Art (SAMA) from February 12 until May 9, 2021. Originally conceived by Adriana Ospina, OAS AMA’s Collections Curator and Educational Programming Manager, under the title “Cultural Encounters: Art of Asian Diasporas in Latin America & the Caribbean, 1945–Present,” in San Antonio, it is curated by Lucía Abramovich Sánchez and Yinshi Lerman-Tan.
