The potential names for Chesterfield s 13th middle school have been narrowed down to three: Otterdale Middle School, Otterdale Branch Middle School and Otterdale Grove Middle School.
The Chesterfield County School Board is asking for the public s help in naming the new middle school. Residents can submit suggestions at bit.ly/WAMSname through Feb. 28.
Brian McGill, an English teacher at Tomahawk Creek Middle School since 2020, has been selected as the 2024 Teacher of the Year and Middle School Teacher of the Year for Chesterfield County. Mr. McGill has taught in Chesterfield County Public Schools since 2008 and previously taught in New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
