Fire Breaks Out At Canton Manufacturing Plant
(Canton, NC) A fire at a manufacturing plant is being investigated in Canton. Flames erupted inside Evergreen Packaging on Monday morning, but never caused any visible damage on the outside. No injuries were reported. It s been half-a-year since two contract workers were killed inside Evergreen Packaging after a heat gun fell into a bucket of resin.
Hiker Rescued After Fall In Pisgah National Forest
(Transylvania County, NC) A hiker is somehow escaping with only minor injuries after a big fall in the Pisgah National Forest. Transylvania County rescue crews rushed out last weekend to Slate Rock, where someone reportedly fell and tumbled around one-thousand-feet. It took six-hours to complete the rescue, as emergency workers helped the victim walk away from the site. ....
