CBC NL has partnered with the Community Food Sharing Association and so far has helped raise $150,769 for Feed N.L. campaign in a time when more people are turning to food banks.
It’s the dozens of food banks all across the province that do the important work of helping people get the food they need. CBC Feed N.L. teams up every year with the Community Food Sharing Association, which distributes food to all those local food banks. Tina Bishop tells Krissy Holmes of The St. John’s Morning Show what the annual event has come to mean.
