A Chillicothe man is dead as the result of a two-vehicle crash along Veterans Parkway near the intersection of Clinton Road.
According to the Chillicothe Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Jayson D. Gordon, 41, was killed when his northbound 2007 Cadillac sedan traveled left of center and collided head-on with a southbound GMC pickup truck operated by Shelby Tennant, 52, of Chillicothe, shortly after 11:30 a.m.
Tennant and a passenger in his vehicle, Timothy Shoemaker, 64, of Chillicothe, suffered minor injuries and were treated at the scene.
Veterans Parkway was closed for around two hours following the crash but has since been reopened.
