the second worst school shooting in american history, 19 children and two teachers slaughtered, while police waited outside. the us justice department has just published its long awaited report into the mass shooting at the robb elementary school in uvalde, texas. we will get reaction to that. our panel this evening from california, the republican strategist lanhee chen, and in glasgow the former labour leader kesia dugdale. also in our programme. only 10% of voters under 50 would support the conservatives at the next election. that s is the lowest level of support for the tory since the last days of liz truss. and this hour, we will keep an eye on the failed lunar lander peregrine which is about to burn up over the south pacific. good evening. the families of those who died in the uvalde shooting nearly two years ago, don t need a report to know that law enforcement failed them. for over an hour, the children were locked in a school classroom with an active shooter, while those with guns and shields took cover, and waited outside. today the us justice deparment released a 600 page document that concluded the de facto commander on the scene that day had began treating the incident as a barricade scenario not as an active shooter situation . footage from cctv showed police standing in the school corridor and even when they did finally get in to confront this man, they had no plan to triage the 35 victims who were rescued, many of whom who had been shot. the us attorney general merrick garland who went to uvalde and met with survivors and families of those who died said there were a series of majorfailures. the law enforcement response at robb elementary school on may 2a, 2022, and in the hours and days after, was a failure that should not have happened. we hope to honour the victims and the survivors by working together to try to prevent anything like this from ever happening again, here or anywhere. our children deserve better than to grow up in a country where an 18 year old has easy access to a weapon that belongs on the battlefield, not in the classroom. and communities across the country and the law enforcement officers who protect them deserve better than to be forced to respond to one horrific mass shooting after another, but that is the terrible reality that we face. for these officers to just sit there and not for these officers to just sit there and not do for these officers to just sit there and not do anything, you know, and still be and not do anything, you know, and still be out and not do anything, you know, and still be out here on the streets like nothing happened, you know. my daughter like nothing happened, you know. my daughter is like nothing happened, you know. my daughter is gone. it, it was hard. it was daughter is gone. it, it was hard. it was hard daughter is gone. it, it was hard. it was hard i daughter is gone. it, it was hard. it was hard. i think we re going to continue it was hard. i think we re going to continue fighting, it was hard. i think we re going to continue fighting, we it was hard. i think we re going to continue fighting, we will- it was hard. i think we re going to| continue fighting, we will continue fighting continue fighting, we will continue fighting that continue fighting, we will continue fighting that some continue fighting, we will continue fighting that some type continue fighting, we will continue fighting that some type of - continue fighting, we will continue fighting that some type of change | continue fighting, we will continue i fighting that some type of change is made, fighting that some type of change is made. in fighting that some type of change is made, in honour fighting that some type of change is made, in honour of fighting that some type of change is made, in honour of our fighting that some type of change is made, in honour of our kids. - let s speak to our north america correspondent emma vardy. you would think in an active shooting situation like this particularly one involving so many children that the priority would be to be getting into the room as soon as possible, especially when they had such overwhelming force on their side. but they didn t, why? side. but they didn t, why? exactly, and the report side. but they didn t, why? exactly, and the report says side. but they didn t, why? exactly, and the report says these side. but they didn t, why? exactly, and the report says these are - side. but they didn t, why? exactly, and the report says these are the i and the report says these are the well established procedures that officers are trained to go towards the threat, gain entry and take down the threat, gain entry and take down the gunman essentially, but this didn t happen because a really key error that was made quite early on after officers arrived on the scene. it was deemed that they were dealing with a situation in which they thought someone had barricaded themselves into a room and they didn t identify the fact that this was a very dangerous situation with an active shooter. a key mistake was made. and then that led to multiple failings one after another, so officers were directed to retreat from the classroom instead of gaining entry. there was time spent looking for keys, looking in a caretakers office, trying to find keys to open classrooms rather than just forcing entry because of course the need was so immediate. so of course all this time was wasted and there are hundreds of pages in this report which makes it very frustrating, very emotional, distressing reading because of all the failures and missed opportunities are laid bare. so it s very difficult day for families of victims. forsome very difficult day for families of victims. for some degree, we know that their concerns are validated, there was a media criticism after there was a media criticism after the tragedy happened in 2022, now this report was commissioned but they had to wait all this time to really see their fears, their frustrations, criticism is now put in black and white in this report. but it doesn t look like this will be the end of the matter, there is also a criminal investigation ongoing, alongside this. and some of the families want to seek criminal prosecutions against the officers who they believed failed them on that day. who they believed failed them on that da . , ,.,, who they believed failed them on thatda. , ., ., that day. the purpose of an investigation that day. the purpose of an investigation like that day. the purpose of an investigation like this, - that day. the purpose of an - investigation like this, obviously, is to change protocol, procedures, to ensure it doesn t happen again. what is thejustice department proposing? what is the justice department promising? proposing? there s a lot of recommendations - proposing? there s a lot of recommendations in - proposing? there s a lot of recommendations in this . proposing? there s a lot of - recommendations in this report. and the mayor s office and the city of uvalde, mass shootings take place very often in the united states, there are these established procedures that are already in place. on this day, it s not that theyjust place. on this day, it s not that they just simply weren t followed. for the officers involved, there was particular criticisms for the officer that he came de facto in charge, he was the one that gave the order for the officers to retreat but there wasn t this command structure, he had left radios in his car thinking he didn t need them and therefore gave verbal instructions over a mobile phone rather than setting up a clear chain of command that would ve helped. there s all this missed medication that led to the chaos and the feelings that we ve seen documented in the report today so there is a lot of hope now that this would not be repeated in future, and apologies to families of victims and lots of promises as this report has come out that this won t happen again and that procedures will be followed in the future. emma, thank you very much for that. let s move then to our panel about it. lanhee, i ll come to you first. the biggest concern that an 18 year old had access to a weapon that belongs on the battlefield and not in the classroom. but they won t be here anything that takes this weapon off the streets. taste be here anything that takes this weapon off the streets. we have seen, weapon off the streets. we have seen. tragically. weapon off the streets. we have seen, tragically, too weapon off the streets. we have seen, tragically, too many- weapon off the streets. we have seen, tragically, too many of. weapon off the streets. we have i seen, tragically, too many of these events seen, tragically, too many of these events in seen, tragically, too many of these events in the united states. and rather events in the united states. and rather than be a clarion call for change. rather than be a clarion call for change, whether it means law enforcement is handling these or deating enforcement is handling these or dealing with the scourge of gun violence dealing with the scourge of gun violence in the us, we don t ever seem violence in the us, we don t ever seem to violence in the us, we don t ever seem to see violence in the us, we don t ever seem to see action. and that s the most seem to see action. and that s the most frustrating part probably in some most frustrating part probably in some ways for people who have observed some ways for people who have observed this or in the more awful situation observed this or in the more awful situation have had to deal with it in person situation have had to deal with it in person. the reality is that you know, in person. the reality is that you know. we in person. the reality is that you know, we can have all sorts of conversations about what the right procedures and the right changes are, trut procedures and the right changes are, but until those are actual effectuated, until policymakers take it seriously and make changes, it s going it seriously and make changes, it s going to it seriously and make changes, it s going to be it seriously and make changes, it s going to be difficult to imagine that something hopefully not as horrific that something hopefully not as horrific as uvalde, a similar event might horrific as uvalde, a similar event might happen in the united states again~ might happen in the united states again i might happen in the united states again. i think the challenge here is how to again. i think the challenge here is how to make it so we don t enter into a how to make it so we don t enter into a polarising situation where this information is not automatically taken and interpreted differently by people who think differently by people who think differently politically. i think there differently politically. i think there is differently politically. i think there is a fairly straightforward set of there is a fairly straightforward set of answers here and hopefully policymakers can begin to understand that, but policymakers can begin to understand that, but christian. now policymakers can begin to understand that, but christian. . . that, but christian. now are you suggesting that, but christian. now are you suggesting those that, but christian. now are you suggesting those solutions - that, but christian. now are you suggesting those solutions are . that, but christian. now are you | suggesting those solutions are and how you police this, how you change the protocols of what police do in those situations, or are you suggesting that the solutions are to take the guns out of the hands of 18 year olds who might have difficulties? 18-year-olds who might have difficulties? 18-year-olds who might have difficulties? yeah, well look, i think there s difficulties? yeah, well look, i think there s multiple - difficulties? yeah, well look, i think there s multiple things l difficulties? yeah, well look, i. think there s multiple things that have to think there s multiple things that have to happen. certainly in respect to the have to happen. certainly in respect to the possession of firearms, we have to the possession of firearms, we have to to the possession of firearms, we have to look at common sense gun laws, have to look at common sense gun laws, we have to look at common sense gun laws, we have to look at things like certain laws, we have to look at things like certain kinds of restrictions on assault certain kinds of restrictions on assault weapons style weapons. we have to assault weapons style weapons. we have to look at certain other kinds of restrictions with respect to mental of restrictions with respect to mental health and the interplay between mental health and the possession of firearms. and then separately possession of firearms. and then separately from that, there is a whole separately from that, there is a whole set separately from that, there is a whole set of conversations about the i’i l ht whole set of conversations about the right protocol, so right integration between right protocol, so right integration between local and federal law enforcement. so all that has to happen, enforcement. so all that has to happen, there is no single thing that causes this kind of strategy. as lanhee that causes this kind of strategy. as lanhee says, far too many tragic events in schools. and i m bound to ask you, to talk about the ongoing, because we had one such situation in a school in scotland in the protocols and laws have changed, but at the end of the day it was about control of the guns and it made a huge difference. we are very different country and guess the americans would pointed us and look at our knife culture and how we have failed to get a grip on that. is it not about taking the gun out of the hands of people who have mental illnesses? ., , ., illnesses? you re quite right, you can t help but illnesses? you re quite right, you can t help but look illnesses? you re quite right, you can t help but look at illnesses? you re quite right, you can t help but look at these - illnesses? you re quite right, you. can t help but look at these stories in britain and be reminded of what happened, i was school in dunn lane, and the response to that, absolutely horrendous horrific event was in the united kingdom was to ban handguns, it really was that simple. and of course we often struggle talking about this united kingdom looking at the us, we don t have the same culture and debate at about the right to bear arms, it s not the same kind of factor in british society. we do have the problem with knives and the rest of it, we don t just receive these type of events of mass shootings of utterly innocent children, it s important to recognise though that these events will keep happening for as long as americans can bear arms, even if the laws become stricter and it looks like itjust will be the reality of that constitutional right. if you accept that that s what you want in your country then you have to make sure that you have the best possible policies in place and the best possible people in place to make sure that you limit that loss of life and that s what s utterly failed here. even worse to think it could have been avoided if people had done what they were supposed to do. taste had done what they were supposed to do. ~ , ., ., , do. we will see if there are any criminal prosecutions do. we will see if there are any criminal prosecutions in - do. we will see if there are any criminal prosecutions in resultl criminal prosecutions in result of that report. we ll move on. keeping an eye on events in sheffield, the fire service in sheffield has reported that there is a fire at a power station, anyone living nearby, the police say, should keep their doors and windows closed, the fire service has said please avoid the area while the crews work. it s not clear what the incident is, or how serious it is at this moment, of course we ll keep you posted as we get more on that situation. a us spacecraft that malfunctioned on the way to the moon is returning to earth around now. it s due to burn up in the earth s atmosphere in a fireball over the south pacific ocean. it s a dramatic finale to a mission that initially looked so good. but soon after launch, the peregrine lander suffered a major fuel leak and that made a soft landing on the moon impossible. nasa say they have gathered data while it had fuel remaining. but the decision was taken to bring it back to earth, over the south pacific, rather than leave more space junk up there. let s speak to our science correspondentjonathan amos. so what, tell us how this is going to unfold, jonathan. i’m so what, tell us how this is going to unfold, jonathan. so what, tell us how this is going to unfold, jonathan. i m looking at all the sources to unfold, jonathan. i m looking at all the sources at to unfold, jonathan. i m looking at all the sources at the to unfold, jonathan. i m looking at all the sources at the moment, . all the sources at the moment, waiting for confirmation that the peregrine lender has actually reentered the earth s atmosphere and burned up. i think it probably should have come in by now, wejust need the confirmation either from asked robotic, the company that was, or nasa as well. we were expecting it to come in high over an archipelago in the south pacific about 1700 km east of australia about 1700 km east of australia about 1000 miles. there s about a tonne of hard work, just over, i think, that should have started to melt, vaporise about 18 km up. very little of it would have made it to the pacific ocean, the surface. but as you say we need confirmation. they would ve had a signal, radio signal all the way as they came in, and when that signal went down at the expected time, at the various tracking stations that would have been confirmation that it was down. but we need somebody, from astrobotics or from nasa to put their hand up. the astrobotics or from nasa to put their hand up. their hand up. the reason i was interested their hand up. the reason i was interested whether their hand up. the reason i was interested whether any - their hand up. the reason i was interested whether any of - their hand up. the reason i was interested whether any of this i their hand up. the reason i was - interested whether any of this would end up in the water, its notjust thejunk, there were human remains on the lander, some of it was supposed to be deposited on the moon. and in fact we have the ceo of the company that put all this together, some of it was going to get to the moon, some of it was going to go to deep space. is it now a burial at sea, or is it not?- a burial at sea, or is it not? well, i mean a burial at sea, or is it not? well, i mean there a burial at sea, or is it not? well, i mean there were a burial at sea, or is it not? well, i mean there were some - a burial at sea, or is it not? well, | i mean there were some cremated remains on board, there s a couple of us companies that for a few thousand dollars will send a small catchment of your cremated remains into space. these companies have been operating for a couple of decades now, they are well known. and they had payload space on this lander. gene roddenberry, the creator of star trek, some of his ashes were on the lander. they also had some ashes, too, on the rocket that took peregrine up, along with other star trek actors, scotty, bones, and lieutenant who. bones, and lieutenant uhura who. nasa has kind of sad, we look at it, will have a committee and discuss these matters, but on this occasion they didn t step in to stop it. but very little of the spacecraft, if anything, is going to make it through to the surface. jennifer, thank ou through to the surface. jennifer, thank you very through to the surface. jennifer

and be sure they ll get the care they need. the group behind them is safe haven it says the boxes have been set up for mothers, who are often young and fearful, and who have given birth alone and find they are unable to cope. its founder is an anti abortion campaigner, and the boxes are found in some states like indiana which have historically had stricter abortion laws. all of this comes on the day thousands marched in washington for the annual march for life. it s what supporters described as a pro life event, it s what opponents say is anti abortion. other demonstrations have been held in other parts of the us, in favour of what those marchers say is a woman s right to chose. abortion is likely to be a major issue in this year s us election after the supreme court ruling which overturned roe vs wade, and removed the legal right to abortion across the us. let s bring in our panelists now. let s start with you, paul. and that tragic story of a baby being found in freezing temperatures in a park in freezing temperatures in a park in east london. it s a story that s shocking, isn t it? it’s in east london. it s a story that s shocking, isn t it? shocking, isn t it? it s shocking, but it s also shocking, isn t it? it s shocking, but it s also heartbreaking, - but it s also heartbreaking, isn t it? and but it s also heartbreaking, isn t it? and you ve got to praise the police it? and you ve got to praise the police in it? and you ve got to praise the police in this case, their response has actually been very compassionate. they ve said the superintendent locally said that their superintendent locally said that their thoughts turned to the baby s mother, their thoughts turned to the baby s mother, they are extremely concerned about mother, they are extremely concerned about her mother, they are extremely concerned about her welfare. they want to get about her welfare. they want to get a message about her welfare. they want to get a message to her that the baby is ok, a message to her that the baby is 0k. but a message to her that the baby is ok, but they are also aware that the mother ok, but they are also aware that the mother is ok, but they are also aware that the mother is an ok, but they are also aware that the mother is an urgent need of medical attention, mother is an urgent need of medical attention, they ve got nothing but sympathy for what she s done in many ways sympathy for what she s done in many ways and sympathy for what she s done in many ways and it sympathy for what she s done in many ways. and it brings to light a really ways. and it brings to light a really difficult issue, which is, this really difficult issue, which is, lhis isn t really difficult issue, which is, this isn t a really difficult issue, which is, this isn t a one off. there is estimated this isn t a one off. there is estimated to be about 50 babies a year in estimated to be about 50 babies a year in britain, one a week, that are abandoned. and we ve got almost this mckenzie and view of a foundling being left out on the streets. foundling being left out on the streets, and it s extraordinary in this day streets, and it s extraordinary in this day and age that women would feel so this day and age that women would feel so desperate that they would have to feel so desperate that they would have to resort to that measure. we don t have to resort to that measure. we don t know have to resort to that measure. we don t know this woman s circumstances, we don t know whether she was circumstances, we don t know whether she was underage, if she was a victim she was underage, if she was a victim of she was underage, if she was a victim of abuse. but it would be surely a victim of abuse. but it would be surely a good thing if we could follow surely a good thing if we could follow the example of some of the united follow the example of some of the united states which have a safe haven united states which have a safe haven law which basically don t criminalise women who do this. make it safer criminalise women who do this. make it safer for criminalise women who do this. make it safer for them if they are desperate to leave the baby somewhere safe. we desperate to leave the baby somewhere safe. desperate to leave the baby somewhere safe. ~ , ., somewhere safe. we were showing ictures somewhere safe. we were showing pictures there somewhere safe. we were showing pictures there of somewhere safe. we were showing pictures there of that somewhere safe. we were showing pictures there of that march - somewhere safe. we were showing pictures there of that march in - pictures there of that march in washington abortion is likely to dominate the election. and washington abortion is likely to dominate the election.- dominate the election. and it should, because dominate the election. and it should, because what - dominate the election. and it should, because what we - dominate the election. and it| should, because what we saw dominate the election. and it - should, because what we saw was the supreme court taking away a right that existed for women in the us for over 50 years. and i think as paul said, the desperation of a young mother to go through what this young woman obviously went through and have to abandon a baby, may be when other option might have been available, if she had medical treatment, or better circumstances. you really can t legislate by anecdote here. if you don t know the situation for that individual mother. but we do know that anti abortion laws such as the ones that are getting implemented all across the country now because of roe v wade being decimated, they are bad for women s health. they are bad for the economy, and people take desperate measures because they are scared. because they don t have options. even when their life is in medical danger, some of these laws are saying that doctors can t perform life saving techniques on the mother if it involves actually an abortion. that is just not ok. i mean, that is moving backwards in a way that a majority of americans don t want to move, and that s why this is going to be a big election issue. this is going to be a big election issue. . ., .., , issue. and of course in some ways, the two stories issue. and of course in some ways, the two stories are issue. and of course in some ways, the two stories are connected - issue. and of course in some ways, the two stories are connected in . issue. and of course in some ways, the two stories are connected in a i the two stories are connected in a tenuous way, because in the us some of the people behind the safe haven laws argue that that s a reason to not allow abortion, hillary.- not allow abortion, hillary. well, the kind not allow abortion, hillary. well, they kind of not allow abortion, hillary. well, they kind of can t not allow abortion, hillary. well, they kind of can t have not allow abortion, hillary. well, they kind of can t have it - not allow abortion, hillary. well, they kind of can t have it both - they kind of can t have it both ways. they can t say that life begins at conception but ends at birth. you have to be willing to take care of women and their children, whether they were wanted or not, you have to support resources, communities, support childcare. supportjob training, all of the things that the very same people who are voting on these anti abortion laws are refusing to spend resources to do. so they message is really quite hypocritical and i don t think that people buy it, and i don t think it s effective, actually, as public policy. effective, actually, as public oli . ~ , , policy. while i m sure we will be discussing policy. while i m sure we will be discussing the policy. while i m sure we will be discussing the issue policy. while i m sure we will be discussing the issue of - policy. while i m sure we will be discussing the issue of abortion | policy. while i m sure we will be i discussing the issue of abortion in the many months to come, because of course we are in an election year. donald trump has just received another big endorsement from senator tim scott. mr scott had previously campaigned against mr trump but dropped out of the race in november. he was the only african american in the contest. his backing for the former president, who is dominating the polls, comes days before republican supporters vote in the new hampshire primary. on monday mr trump beat the former un ambassador nikki haley and the florida governor ron desantis by a record margin at the iowa caucuses. interesting times, and we are getting ever closer to the new hampshire primary. i m going to stick with hilary again, welcome to a second paul. this is a big endorsement for donald trump to get. it s a big endorsement, it s not just about the new hampshire primary but the south carolina primary is coming up in a couple of weeks as well. where nikki haley was desperately hoping for a one to punch as being a real alternative to donald trump. if she could possibly come close in south carolina. and come close in south carolina. and mentioning come close in south carolina. and mentioning to come close in south carolina. and mentioning to our come close in south carolina. and mentioning to our viewers of course, timbuktu, both nikki haley and tim scott are from south carolina so there are our hometown candidates of course. . , there are our hometown candidates of course. ., , ,, ., ., ., course. nikki haley senator and that s why course. nikki haley senator and that s why he course. nikki haley senator and that s why he endorsed, - course. nikki haley senator and that s why he endorsed, that s i course. nikki haley senator and i that s why he endorsed, that s why donald trump worked so hard to get his endorsement and his endorsement is a big blow to nikki haley. it s becoming clearer and clearer that even though 30% of the republican party, maybe 35% of the republican party, maybe 35% of the republican party would rather have a candidate rather than donald trump, he is going to be their nominee because he keeps getting a plurality of support across these states and i think we ll see that over the next couple bowl of weeks in new hampshire and south carolina, he s going to try to wrap up this primary season fairly early. wrap up this primary season fairly earl . . ., ., ,., wrap up this primary season fairly earl . ., ., ., .,~ wrap up this primary season fairly earl . ., ., ., y., ., ~ ., early. paul, what do you make of the number two early. paul, what do you make of the number two placing early. paul, what do you make of the number two placing is early. paul, what do you make of the number two placing is what - early. paul, what do you make of the number two placing is what we re - number two placing is what we re looking at, really, isn t it? in this race. where do you see things of this side of the bond? i this race. where do you see things of this side of the bond? of this side of the bond? i think the big problem of this side of the bond? i think the big problem is of this side of the bond? i think the big problem is that - of this side of the bond? i think i the big problem is that you know, second place is no place at all when it comes second place is no place at all when it comes to second place is no place at all when it comes to donald trump, because he s got it comes to donald trump, because he s got such an enormous lead. it seems he s got such an enormous lead. it seems as he s got such an enormous lead. it seems as though from our point of view, seems as though from our point of view, certainly from the british government s point of view, there is a need government s point of view, there is a need to government s point of view, there is a need to hedge our bets and we are going a need to hedge our bets and we are going to a need to hedge our bets and we are going to be a need to hedge our bets and we are going to be prepared for a trump presidency. no one is suggesting it s deftly presidency. no one is suggesting it s deftly going to happen but you have to it s deftly going to happen but you have to look at the polls in the swing have to look at the polls in the swing states and a lot of people are preparing swing states and a lot of people are preparing contingency plans. second place really isn t any place as i second place really isn t any place as i say, second place really isn t any place as i say, because, you know, he s so far ahead as i say, because, you know, he s so far ahead that as i say, because, you know, he s so far ahead that the assumption there he s going far ahead that the assumption there he s going to win the nomination. the lrig he s going to win the nomination. the big question is can he beat biden the big question is can he beat biden and the big question is can he beat biden and issues like abortion like we just biden and issues like abortion like we just talked about, will they galvanise supporters as it appeared in the galvanise supporters as it appeared in the midterms, will those women turn out in the midterms, will those women turn out in in the midterms, will those women turn out in big numbers, women in particular turn out in big numbers, women in particular but women of all ages. boris particular but women of all ages. borisjohnson, former prime minister. borisjohnson, former prime minister, only this evening came out in favour minister, only this evening came out in favour of minister, only this evening came out in favour of a minister, only this evening came out in favour of a trump presidency given in favour of a trump presidency given that in favour of a trump presidency given that he is not prime minister any more. given that he is not prime minister any more, he is not an mp any more, you might any more, he is not an mp any more, you might say any more, he is not an mp any more, you might say he s a bit of a risk move for you might say he s a bit of a risk move for him, but you can not imagine move for him, but you can not imagine rishi sunak going anywhere near that imagine rishi sunak going anywhere near that. johnson says trump presidency is going to be a big win for the presidency is going to be a big win for the world, i think he believes that somehow it can have leverage or influence that somehow it can have leverage or influence with trump as a former prime influence with trump as a former prime minister to try and tip the scales prime minister to try and tip the scales a prime minister to try and tip the scales a bit more in ukraine s favour~ scales a bit more in ukraine s favour. that might be a forlorn hope but that favour. that might be a forlorn hope but that seems to be what boris johnson but that seems to be what boris johnson is but that seems to be what boris johnson is looking at. we but that seems to be what boris johnson is looking at. but that seems to be what boris johnson is looking at. we were going to talk about johnson is looking at. we were going to talk about that johnson is looking at. we were going to talk about that later johnson is looking at. we were going to talk about that later in johnson is looking at. we were going to talk about that later in the - to talk about that later in the programme, but since you mentioned it, you are right that borisjohnson has said a second presidential term for donald trump could be, and i quote, just what the world needs. he said, i quote, the global wokerati are trembling in their boots. having worked out as he surely has that there is no deal to be done with putin, i reckon there s a good chance he ll double down and finish what he started . we ll discuss that a little bit later in the programme. comments coming from the former prime minister endorsing donald trump. around the world and across the uk. this is bbc news. bbc news, bringing you different stories from across the uk. far more reservoir outside oxford should have far more water at this time of year, but locals who enjoy walking, fishing and boating here have seen levels drop significantly in the past two weeks, just as nearby roads, some homes and vast areas of agricultural land have been inundated after the recent heavy rainfall. and with so much of the south still dealing with the after effects of flooding, tt may seem surprising that major reservoirs like this one aren t full to the brim, but as you can see, we re still way below capacity. thames water was unable to give us an interview but confirmed it paused pumping water into the reservoir when recent storms raised the volume of dirt and debris being carried by the rivers that feed farmoor. campaigners argue the company has, at least in part, made the situation worse for itself. for more stories from across the uk, head to the bbc news website. you re live with bbc news. in a world where we d all love a pay rise, how much is too much to earn? this morning on bbc breakfast, the boss of centrica, the company best known for running british gas, revealed how much he earned in the last year, and said he couldn tjustify it. this is chris o shea, who s been chief executive at centrica since 2020. when asked if it was right that he received £45 million in a year that s about $5.7 million at a time when the average british wage is about 150 times smaller and at a time when many people are struggling with rising costs, he gave this response. my fee last year was £45 million. you can tjustify a salary of that size. can you say that again? did you say you can tjustify it? well, you can t because it s a huge amount of money. to anybody looking, this is a huge amount of money. it s just impossible to justify so there s no point in trying to do that. right, well let s bring the panel in on this. i m going to start with you, paul. what s been the fallout of these comments? you, paul. what s been the fallout of these comments? welcome the first thin ou d of these comments? welcome the first thing you d say. of these comments? welcome the first thing you d say. you of these comments? welcome the first thing you d say, you can t of these comments? welcome the first thing you d say, you can tjustify - thing you d say, you can tjustify it is a thing you d say, you can tjustify it is a matter of opinion. if thing you d say, you can t ustify it is a matter of opinion.h it is a matter of opinion. if it s an opinion. it is a matter of opinion. if it s an opinion. i it is a matter of opinion. if it s an opinion, i rather it is a matter of opinion. if it s an opinion, i rather like - it is a matter of opinion. if it s - an opinion, i rather like it. what s extraordinary an opinion, i rather like it. what s extraordinary is an opinion, i rather like it. what s extraordinary is him an opinion, i rather like it. what s extraordinary is him basically - extraordinary is him basically admitting that he s been overpaid. and i admitting that he s been overpaid. and i think admitting that he s been overpaid. and i think for a long time there s been and i think for a long time there s been a and i think for a long time there s been a demand for notjust and i think for a long time there s been a demand for not just a and i think for a long time there s been a demand for notjust a low pay commission in britain but a high pay commission commission in britain but a high pay commission and to look at whether there commission and to look at whether there should be multiples of earnings for chief executives, whether earnings for chief executives, whether there should be a cap on that whether there should be a cap on that some whether there should be a cap on that. some people would say that s anti-free that. some people would say that s anti free market, but if you get a fat cat anti free market,

in a criminal scheme with a foreign national. we re being told that justice has had in their possession a document showing biden directly exchanged money for policy decisions when he was vice president again a foreign national bribed vice president biden in exchange for policy decisions. this isn t just cracked out hunter, this is a direct link to the president of the united states. senator chuck grassley, who broke the news, says these allegations are very credible. listen. we have credible information that this possible criminal activity took place. i do have faith in the whistleblowers that bring it to me that this document exists. we have a rough idea of what s in the document from the credible whistleblower. we get this information, the document exists, and we will have to get the document. jesse: this is grassley s wheelhouse he doesn t mess around when it comes to whistleblowers. grassley is the real deal on this stuff. that s bad news for biden. this could be hard evidence that joe was doing political favors for cash. and the fbi and the justice department knew it and they sat on it. just like they did with the laptop for over a full year and the run-up to the last election. and since this is another election cycle for biden, i guess it was all part of the plan, another cover-up. but, now, oversight chair jim comer issuing a subpoena to the fbi chris wray ordering them to release this document immediately. and grassley is telling the white house they better not cover it up by classifying it. do you believe that the subpoena will ultimately be successful and chairman comer will be able to obtain this document? what level of confidence do you have? it will be successful unless the white house classifies this document. and they better not because i know it s an unclassified document. but they could keep me from getting it by classifying it we know white house is jumping into defense going on five years now republicans in congress have been lobbing unfounded politically motivated attacks against the president and his family without offering evidence further claims or evidence of decisions influenced by anything other than u.s. interest. that s because they prefer floating anonymous innuendo amplified by the meghan d.b.a. phone other allies in the media to get attention and try to distract and deflect from own unpopular ideas and solutions the american people actually care about. whatever. this is yet another whistleblower who fingers biden as the head of a corrupt political family. taking money under the table from foreign nationals. he is now the sitting president of the united states. but there are hundreds of data points that joe biden was acting in in a capitalistic term, i would say the chairman. is he a figure-head. he shows up in meetings, shakes hands. role in the biden family business ventures around the world. jesse: there are former white house staffers2 with biden when he flew to ukraine to push for gas deals while hunter was being paid by gas giants. and he has the evidence it prove it, remember? joe biden is lying. joe biden is a criminal. that s the bottom line. i don t care if he goes to timbuktu or iowa or anywhere, he is a criminal. and i have got the evidence. if they put me in front of the grand jury that s right now seated in wilmington with special prosecutor david weiss, my testimony becomes the evidence that will put him in jail or will lead to his impeachment. jesse: a picture tells a thousand words. here is joe biden at dinner with foreign nationals paying his son. what were they paying his son for? they can t tell you. but we have emails describing kickbacks for joe biden. so% for the big guy. and if hunter is setting up white house meetings for chinese nationals, a guy named wang, does that sound like innuendo? we have irs whistleblowers who say biden s department of justice they have been slow-walking charges against hunter to protect the fam. can t say we are surprised when we hear the department of justice has been sitting on evidence that joe is exchanging political favors for cash. this was happening right under barack hussein obama s nose. barack hussein obama likes to says his administration had no scandals but his own v.p. was running a foreign cash register out of his white house? come on. but it could get worse. hunter s finances, they are about to get cracked open in an arkansas court. all because the deadbeat dad is trying to low ball child support payments to his love child? new now, meanwhile hunter has been shacking up at the white house trying to not to get served. the guy who loaned him 2 million to pay off. hiding assets so 4-year-old can stay poor. sugar brother took over stake in chinese company the white house said that hunter divested from. and are you ready? the washington post just now reporting that federal prosecutors just met with hunter s defense team and they are very close on deciding whether or not to indict the president s son on tax and gun charges. now, maybe this is why joe hasn t been seen in the last 48 hours. let s turn it over to brett tolman. he is the former u.s. attorney. so, bret, what do you think this document actually is? jesse, thanks for having me on. a document like this really comes down to one thing in my mind. this is probably an fbi 302 investigative report. say that because the whistleblower, in order to make the connection, and to assess that it s credible of credible information like senator grassley has assessed, means that they had to have sat down with whoever is providing the information and they are not going to do that without making sure you get every detail you can from someone. so my guess is jesse, someone called up the fbi and said, hey, we have legitimate evidence that joe biden received a payment in exchange and we want to come talk to you. and somebody saw that and noticed that nothing was being done with it and has come forward and informed senator grassley and representative comer. jesse: so we don t know what foreign country we are dealing with. it could be china. it could be ukraine. what kind of action would the vice president be wheeling and dealing for with the country like a ukraine or a china? think about how rare it is to have a whistleblower to come forward from doj or the fbi. it s incredibly rare. they would have to have very solid information that whether they are coming forward they are not they are not embarrassed about it or not concerned about the credibility. so here, the country at issue certainly ukraine and china, but, remember, when joe biden bragged about getting rid of a prosecutor that was looking at the burisma company that hunter hunter biden was a board member. it could be something like that. and that would be considerably expensive in order to get the vice president to take such action on a national stage as he did. and then he bragged about it. so, if it s like that. that would be significant money. jesse: can you cover something like this up. says the white house might classify the document and we will never ever see it? yeah, you know, his comments are significant. it s a warning shot to the white house to don t play games on in this is not one you want messing around. you don t want to mess around with chuck grassley. i m going to tell you that he is like a pit bull. he will stay on an issue. he is on the substance. he doesn t care about the politics. and he s warning them don t play politics with it. even if they do though, if they do classify this, chuck grassley has the ability, the intelligence committees on both the house have the ability to review those documents in a scif. and so at some point somebody outside of the white house and doj has to look at these documents. jesse: what does it mean to you that the fbi has just been sitting on something this explosive? i am, you know, it s mind boggling to me, jesse. because this is it s not just explosive. this is enormous information that would have immediately gone to the attorney general himself and to director wray. now, once that happens. if the decision was made to stall, to bury this or to buy time. that could only come from director wray or attorney general merrick garland. jesse: they have this silly rule, you know, no big investigations during elections we re in an election. we are always in an election,, brebrett,. can i remember a sitting congressman violating the law. do you know who wanted action immediately the department of justice when i was u.s. attorney somplet somewhere between 15 years ago and now we have a department of justice that doesn t seem to care about our elected officials whether they are corrupt or not. many. jesse: some do though. there are whistleblowers coming forward. it s the top brass that looks like they are keeping a lid on this thing and that s what s scary. bret, thank you so much about your insight and talk to grassley about this as soon as possible. up next, the binder is blowing up. if lawn care were easy, everyone would do it. as well as trugreen does it. trugreen s online tools help ensure your custom treatment works to deliver a greener, healthier lawn - guaranteed. it s time to trust your experts at trugreen. go online today! - this is our premium platinum coverage map and this is consumer cellular s map. - i don t see the difference, do you? he had lunch at 12:45 and dinner at 6:30. all joe biden does is eat and sleep. basically the same schedule as my newborn. and just like give give, biden doesn t talk so what s he been up to kinner 4 # hours since hed a public appearance so what has he been doing in that time. he has been meeting and having internal meetings in the oval office. i had a meeting with him earlier today with his senior advisers, senior staff. jesse: internal meetings, sounds important. it s never been more clear. joe doesn t really want the job. part of being president is talking to reporters and letting us know what you re doing. but because joe is in hiding you only hear from binder. and answering questions not her strong suit. important questions like why won t the president acknowledge his illegitimate granddaughter? i wanted to ask about the trial going on in arkansas with hunter biden and the child support. are the president and first lady monitoring that and how come they haven t acknowledged the seventh grandchild. i m not going to speak to that from here. jesse: so the most trearnt white house in american history gotcha. what about biden hiring one of epstein s pals to run the cia. the binder has to have an answer for that. does president biden have any reaction to the cia director william burns meeting with jeffrey epstein in 2014 to sex crime registered as a sex offender. i m just knot going to comment on that from here. jesse: so no love child, no epstein, what about the border? do you want to correct the record after saying illegal immigration is down 90%? you said yesterday that when it comes to illegal migration you have seen it come down by more than 900%. 990% bore did that number come from because cpd says 136,000 people more this face equal year. if the dramatics could come down a little bit. if the dramatics could come down a little bit. what s dramatic about asking a question about. okay. i m can gonna answer. jesse: stop being so dramatic you stupid son of a bitch. the border is fine. co-host on the five and former white house press secretary. dana: former. jesse: dana, as a former, are you allowed to just say pretty much anything i m not going to answer this from the podium? dana: well, there s no rules, right? so you can decide how you want to do things. and you also, i think a lot of this comes from the top. right? so, my reel of bloopers at the white house probably would be an hour long and everybody could have a lot of fun with that but i do think there are some fundamental problems here. first of all, president biden is not giving her anything to work with. jesse: they had a meeting internal meeting. dana: can t talk about the internal meeting because you don t know the topic. you could have said it was about figuring out a way to get more electric vehicles into the hands of americans. jesse: she won t even tell us what they said. feed the press. i always felt that i was there to, yes, defend the president, advance the agenda. but represent the american people and also to defend the right of the press to ask questions. sometimes the questions are annoying. but there are ways to deal with that in a way that represents the president well, right? you could say i understand why you are asking it, i have already answered it but i will get you more if you need to. i can t answer that from here but if they change their mind and they tell me what they want to say about the grand daughter in arkansas, i will let you know. jesse: is the binder hurting the biden presidency or is biden hurting the biden presidency? i think it really does all stem from the top. he is the one choosing to stay in and not do any thing with the press. you know what a fair weather friend is, right? so he ignores them completely, ignores crises, never went to east palestine, she got asked a question about it today and she said i m not going to answer that from here. okay. she gets a choice how she wants to answer it but he gets a choice of what sort of information does he want to provide. and he hides from the press or doesn t talk to the press or just answers questions when he is going to marine one. but, then when he needs them and he wants to do an interview they are there and they never ask any tough follow-up questions. jesse: no and when they do ask questions he has a cheat sheet he holds on to. what is he doing for 48 hours when they say he is having internal meetings. you worked for president bush. if you are a shut-in for 48 hours, something big must be going down. dana: if i m being kind, one thing that could be happenings. one thing that could be happening they just announced i had re-election, right, in a video last week when you were with gigi changing diapers he said i m going to run for office again. they are way behind. axios reported this morning they are behind in fundraising. they had a meeting with their donors and the donors walked away going wow, we are not impressed, guys. like i would imagine if he is having internal meetings, that is probably with his campaign team because they realize that the donors aren t impressed and they are far behind and they are concerned that they won t be able to win re-election in 2024 if i m being kind. jesse: s that watt kind answer. thank you very much, dana. tony blinken had a rough week. first we found out blunky blink was behind the letter labeled laptop. and then the poor boy was caught about lying about pretty much everything by ben hall and now it turns out tony blinks can t sit down for boar are bausching lecture without getting bum rushed. in particular i m curious whether you have been able to talk excuse us we can t use this day without calling for the freedom of zhang. extradition request. what about zhang. take it easy. take it easy, device. not one word about who was murdered by australia. so. not one word about zhang. we re here to celebrate freedom of expression and we just experienced it. code pink was making a stink about zhang. but old blinkity blink he got in the way. tough times for tony b. up next under cover in homeless america. there should be housing for you. i don t want housing. then so what do you want? just to sit here then? yes. an allergic reaction, a lump or swelling in your neck, severe stomach pain, vision changes, or diabetic retinopathy. serious side effects may include pancreatitis and gallbladder problems. taking mounjaro with sulfonylurea or insulin raises low blood sugar risk. tell your doctor if you re nursing, pregnant, or plan to be. side effects include nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea which can cause dehydration and may worsen kidney problems. (woman) i can do diabetes differently with mounjaro. (avo) ask your doctor about once-weekly mounjaro. (music throughout) get the royal treatment. join the millions playing royal match today. download now. realtor.com (in a whisper) can we even afford this house? maybe jacob can finally get a job. the house whisperer! this house says use realtor.com to see homes in your budget. you re staying in school, jacob! realtor.com. to each their home. jesse: america s homeless crisis is exploding out west. cities like l.a., portland, san francisco, just riddled with needles villages, it s disgusting. laura ingraham just took a trip to san francisco. talked with some locals to figure out what actually is going on. and it wasn t good. actually, it was actually really sad. watch this. to me fentanyl has been like, like something helping keep me alive. it helps me not think about some of the trauma that i have been through. when i don t get it like i can t breathe sometime or have anxiety really bad. but when i have it like i need itneed it i immediately calm do. jesse: these people are in trouble. and people are just letting it happen. if you really wanted to help, you would show them tough love. you would force drug addicts to change. kick them off the streets, make them choose. turns out you aren t even allowed to do that in san francisco. but you could but then you would owe them a bed. that s the law. here is how a san francisco police lt. describes it, listen. you get to stay out here and do. you can just live out here and as much drugs as you want. yes. the injunction about clearing tents and homeless encampments. you can t clear it out. you can t do that, no. they want us to but we can t do it by law. right? a judge says no. unless you can provide a bed for every person you see out here. and my whole thing is when did that fall on us? jesse: look, we feel bad for everybody. addiction is ugly. these aren t kids on the streets. these are grown men and women who made a choice. and instead of getting sober, getting a job, they just want to shoot up all day on the sidewalk. it s not a secret. homeless people pretty open about it. listen. there should be housing for you. i don t want housing. then so what do you want? just to sit here then? yeah. you should want better for yourself. i like it like this. i like the fresh air. what s your plan to get off the streets. i don t i am dedicated to a life of homelessness and poverty. once you are out here in the outdoors, it gets in your blood. i don t want to be in a stuffy room. i don t want to be in a stuffy apartment building. but what you are saying is that right now there is no housing you would accept? you prefer the outdoors? yes. absolutely. jesse: so the guy just admits it. even if the government handed him the keys to a beautiful three bedroom apartment he wouldn t take it. so the democrats can just keep tossing money at the homeless problem. but, unless you clean up the streets and force these people to change, it s never going to end. jesse: tom wolf former fentanyl ad a: it s a choice te people are making? yeah. and it s kind of an impossible choice because with fentanyl, after a certain point, you really don t have a choice. you have to keep using and you have to keep using every two hours. and if you are addicted to fentanyl. that s more important than just about anything else. in fact, drug addiction becomes more important in general than everything else, including a roof over your head. and you are going to choose that every single time over everything else. so if you ar

that sounds like a deer. it is a double dare you. you are on. it is not so bad. it is more tingly than hot. will: on an absolutely insane day. we focus on what is most important and what is most important is potential corruption and compromise at the highest levels of the united states of america. so when it comes to the playground, joe biden s playground, it is 1600 pennsylvania avenue and everyone is tearing joe to run for reelection. we asked folks, do you think joe biden should run for reelection? only a quarter, 26% say they think he should run for reelection. of all, the president s job rating is not in a good place. most americans don t want to vote for an 81-year-old man. what do 74 of americans think the country is headed the wrong way. joe biden is playing by playground rules and he is not going to signal to a deer. mr. president [overlapping speakers] president biden: i won t get to answer any questions. stay tuned. will: rumors are rampant joe is set to announce his run for reelection in 2024. he will announce that bid. it is suggested tomorrow. but taking this there is a little bit like, well, the cast of dumb & dumber. it is eating that bowl of atomic peppers because the moment he announces, the dam breaks for the biden crime family. the media and intelligence committees will be able to contain the biden s dirty laundry list. instead, they will have to wake up. they will have to smell the roses. one house republicans if house republicans do as they suggest they will, and that is ruled out of the bad apple of the biden family have hunter but not stop at hunter biden. extent expand this investigation into what appears to be a family wide corruption affair. we talked to there were two or three biden family members that would be implicated in these violations. nearly three weeks later, we walked out og read pored over thousands of pages of documents and i can tell you that there were more suspicious activity reports that have been previously reported and many more biden family members that were involved in the peddling scheme. we have nine and counting biden family members who are obtained by at least one bank for receiving suspicious wires from our adversaries around the wo world. will: it is not just going to be the big guy. according to comber, as just heard, there s a hard evidence he says that nine biden family members were involved. comert thinks by the way that number could go up to 12 and that could also still just be the tip of the iceberg. you see, whistleblowers are lining up and getting ready to throw biden under the bus. here is one and this is remarkable. former obama/biden white house stenographer mike mccormick who says he saw something he is calling a kickback scheme. it is when vice president biden took a trip to ukraine. just three days by the way, before hunter biden signed on to join the board with no qualifications of energy company in ukraine burisma. he says he has hard evidence to put an end to biden s career. joe biden is lying. joe biden is a criminal. i don t care if he goes to timbuktu or anywhere, he is a criminal and i got the evidence that put me in front of the grand jury that is right now seated in wilmington with special prosecutor david weiss, my testimony becomes the evidence that will put him in jail or will lead to his impeachment. will: but joe biden is looking him right back in the face and say, i double dare you. you see, not only is he still running or excited to announce another run for presidency, but he is running, right by his side, hunter biden. i don t know if you ve noticed this but hunter has been following his daddy around a lot lately. i holds an easter egg roll. hundred is there. biden just the jets off to a art olympics hundred is there too and it does not look like he was too camera shy either. reporter: what is the top splash based -dash. president biden: making sure that [indistinct]. what are you talking about? the more i found out the key to success, and i m not sure i m the best guide to explain it. will: right there, side by side and rumors we will be seeing a lot more of hunter in the coming months. why? it is suggested hundred may be living in the white house. in your is reporting hunter may have moved into the hideout from his baby mama. that his former stripper lyndon roberts who is suing him over child support payments for their four-year-old daughter. hunter says it is not mine. not that kid. and ms. roberts is now asking arkansas court to have the first son jailed after he failed to fork over his financial records as ordered by the court and now by the way, just today, the judge overseeing that case ordered the hunter s legal team to bring hunter into court. that he needs to start showing up and the judge asked his legal team, is this laptop supposedly contains your financial records, is it real? but b back to whether or not hunter is going to show up in the courtroom? who is going to serve him legal papers? who is going to go to white house? hunter is acting like he is untouchable. and he may will be. untouchable. we found out from an irs whistleblower that biden s department of justice is mishandling the tax evasion case that appears to be of hunter biden s. he is literally that federal prosecutors and their office in general has been delaware has been politically influenced to not vigorously pursue hunter biden. we have also heard reports of the justice department been sitting on another evidence to charge hunter for a year. that is on top of biden campaign orchestrating a cover up, the laptop in 2022. when he told former acting cia director mike morrell, this is something we now know to be true. to like. he told morale to lie and send laptop was russian disinformation, a falsehood that many still believe today. a false heard at the time they knew was a lie. that did not keep though 50 of the highest level intelligence officers in the united states from signing a letter to barry damaging information on a presidential candidate. i m talking about michael hayden james clapper, leon panetta and almost everyone at the highest levels of the mistakes intelligence line running a disinformation campaign on americans. to swing an election. why wouldn t hunter think he is untouchable? not just an content to be untouchable, he is playing the victim. his legal team is going on offense. they are demanding ethics actions against congresswoman marjorie taylor greene for saying for falsifying, saying hunter did crack and had sex with prostitutes. they call them conspiracy theories against hunter biden. know something or two. law school, at least enough to suggest i slept at a holiday inn express. i know something, too, about defamation. truth. is the laptop not hunter s? it appears he has admitted to it being his laptop. and if the laptop is his, so are all the pictures of hunter smoking crack and flirting with prostitutes could not also true? and then the actually important part of the united states of america, what about all the e-mails, business associates from china, ukraine, russia, romania, kazakhstan, we can keep going. if all those business e-mails are on the laptop, are they not also true? how about 10% for the big guy? the bidens. they run the playground. and remember, j joe said, nobody messes with a biden. president biden: nobody league with a biden. [bleep] with a biden. jesse: he is running again. he is double daring us to do something about hunter and his family. so the question is, are we going to take him up on his there? let s bring in ohio congressman jim jordan. he is the chairman of the committee. thank you. thank you for being with us. but as you i guess what-run some self assessments, some self-awareness, as you look at this letter from hunter biden s legal team, what has your committee done in your estimation that is defamatory? the primary responsibility is think about this. 100 euros over 170 suspicious activity reports. thousands of pages multiple llcs now what chairman said was provided getting money from foreign entities. especially when asked the fundamental question, what was the value they added? what services they provide? what did they do to avoid receiving those funds from all these foreign entities? that to me is the fundamental question there. we have all this other stuff going on with his lawyers but all those reports going to 12 the bidens from foreign entities, that is the big question. will: thank you for the question. you are right. it is the committee under congresswomen comber. that has direct jurisdiction over this but i want to ask you, because you were well versed in this and understand what the potential answer is. american people want to know about accountability. what is it the end of the congressional investigations? is it political? is it simply making the american for aware and then anticipating a political response? or is there true at potential criminal accountability? will: the it has to come from the department of justice. the separate and equal and branch is a government and stopping bad behavior is getting the facts on the table. we have a constitutional duty to do oversight and duty investigations and get the truth out there for the american people and second, we have to propose legislation to help remedy is his situation which i think is described as agencies being weaponized against we the people against the american citizen and we will look to do that. we have some legislation already prepared to deal with some things. we will do more than that. and to use the power that the founders felt that we should have in the legislative branch which is the power, which is we are going to say to these agencies, if you re going to keep doing this kind of stuff, we are going to limit how certain funds can be spent. that is an important function have. that is what we do to hold people accountable for wrongdoing. only the justice department can make those kind of prosecutions and those kind of enticements. will: and they can share the information with the public and help the public on their way to political accountability and hopefully that methods research the judiciary and the executive and the department of justice and looking at not tax cases but if we are doing corrupt business deals with foreign countries, whether or not someone should have been registered as a foreign agent. right. that could be a problem, too, when you have all this going on. at step one is always to get the facts on the table and show the american people exactly what happened. that is what we did with the situation where we had a transcribed interview with mike morrell. the idea that joe biden said that this document, 51 former people, former intelligence officials have said that this is a russia influence operation, the fact that he present those printed it was organic when it was prompted by his campaign, that is a big problem. jesse: huge, huge problem. will: huge, huge problem. congressman cook thank you for joining us. you are right. we will start here with sharing the information. thank you. thank you. will: joe biden house house is over today and their visit tells us everything we need to know about where his priorities lie. we will tell you exactly where they like to next. mac allergies don t have to be scary. (screaming) defeat allergy headaches fast with new flonase headache and allergy relief! two pills relieve allergy headache pain? and the congestion that causes it! flonase headache and allergy relief. psst! psst! all good! will: if you want to know what joe biden is all about, all you have to do is watch him. don t judge joe by his jumbled words. judge him by his actions. in fact, let s judge all of each other, everyone and every situation not by our words by but by who we are, our character and our actions. we have been watching joe. that is what he asked. he says watch me. we have been watching him. very closely. we kept track, in fact, of who has been invited to the white house. it is incredibly revealing. what is more revealing is who he is not inviting to the white house. sad story we talked about last week here on prime time. 16-year-old ralph jarl was allegedly shot by 84 old andrew eyster after reportedly ringing the wrong doorbell. it is an absolute tragedy. that we can all agree on. i told you last week one of the initial facts which i had understood that ralph was 6 feet tall. i was incorrect. ralph was 5 8 . but those facts and those characteristics are not what is driving this story. what is driving this story and what seems important to joe biden and for that matter most of the mainstream media is that ralph jarl is back and andrew lester is white. that is important. that is important to the left because it fits into the modern-day race morality play. they have the characters they need to continue to tell the stories that divides us by race. they did this before any facts had been confirmed. in fact, the facts are unknowable right now. right now. i know our criminal justice system is guilty until proven innocent but we here in the media should strive for a somewhat similar standard of not crucifying people in public before we know the facts. but the vast majority have made up their mind. this is yet another example in their minds of how racist white people are out here gunning down african-americans. and they use that as a story to at minimum, not just indict the fabric of america but to roll back gun rights. joe biden, he called jarl ralph yarl s rally. good that he did. that family deserves our nation s sympathy. our empathy. joe biden then said he needed you all needed to keep up with the fight against gun violence. what is revealing is, joe biden does not invite to the white house. here is a story you probably did not hear. in rural new york, a 21-year-old woman was shot and killed after turning into the wrong driveway. it is very similar. at the exact same details but similar to what happened to ralph yarl. did that victim s family get invited to the white house? were they called by the president? there s no indication that that was the case. why? it is because colliculus is white. how about another one? six-year-old girl and her parents were shot after the king s basketball rolled into the king s basketball rolled into the neighbor s yard. you did not hear about that story. why? the shooter was black. the victim was white. no call from the president. last month, a trans limited shot of a christian school in tennessee. were any of those families invited to the white house to talk about gun violence? what about the surviving teachers? no. instead, joe biden invited three tennessee lawmakers who invaded the state capital with a mob of protesters, two were black men, of the tennessee three, they have been dubbed. one is a white woman and they have sucked up all of the attention around this story. they earned this moniker, the tennessee three. and they did not let the spotlight go to waste. i m so glad. oh, i m so glad, yes, i m glad. i m glad. yes, i m glad. i m glad. yeah. yeah. yeah. yeah. yeah. yeah. i m so glad. will: biden was honored to have the tennessee three today at the white house. tonight i have you all three year. standing up for kids, you are standing up for our communities. that is what it is all about. all three of you speak so well. will: joe biden is not worried about the victims of any of these tragic shootings, neither of the tennessee three. more the democrats somehow that has evolved into a story and so neither the democrats: 1 everyone racist for pointing out the hypocrisy which we have laid out before everyone s eyes. these schools don t care about ralph yarl or the kids murdered in tennessee. they just want to cast america once again into this modern american racial drama. so that they can then cast themselves as characters in this play as the modern-day freedom riders. if ralph yarl was shot by a black man you would never have heard about the story. the democrats and media and the politician with barry at the same way they do every other tragedy. unless they can cast it into this play and reap political game. they nationally syndicated radio host joins us now. dana, great to have you with us. you look at this and you say, why does what about joe s actions revealed his priorities and why are these his priorities? thanks for having me. this whole thing i find so grotesque because when a crime happens, when someone loses their life or someone is assaulted or suffers any kind of injury, or great bodily injury or otherwise, it should not come down to whether they were white or black before the president of the united states determines how to react or whether or not he should pick up a phone or reach out to a community or a family but sadly that is how democrats do politics. you are talking well about the tennessee three and the fear that they were engaging in with all of this. the same time that all of this was happening, the same time that they were leading these lawmakers were leading a riot or insurrection depending on how we have the left characterize it into the capital there in tennessee, there was a bill that was coming up that was all about protecting students and student safety in schools. all three of these democrats voted against it. they did not just missed the vote, will. they all voted against it and they had the audacity to pretend that they are standing up for students and visiting joe biden at the white house, then the presidents is that it was an undemocratic thing that was done to them and he was like about the republican legislature as you talked about, will, expelling them. the democratic process of going through what they are allowed to do it by their state constitution and penalizing these lawmakers through a vote for leading a riot into the capital with a bullhorn and disrupting proceedings, that is the very definition of democracy. democratic process in our. and in tennessee and their state capital. leading a riot into the capital with a bullhorn is not the democratic process that joe biden is alluding to. but he has to play to his base. i think that they are ignoring school safety. they are ignoring that mental health issue that really came out of the covenant school and you know what? they are sacrificing all of this at the altar of activism and it is dangerous and it is evil. i think it is absolutely evil. will: that is the definition of democracy, dana. and if you boil it into nothing more than the characteristics of someone s skin color, that is the definition of racist. so great to see you tonight. thank you. democrats used to say they belbelieve in the first amendme. doesn t democracy died in the darkness? why are they trying to jail a journalist for brain injuries? who, what is mutilating cattle in the heart of texas? [ music ] lila: before i was diagnosed, there was nothing really to worry about. and then when i was diagnosed, there was just such a big weight put on my shoulders. every night, i felt like maybe i won t wake up tomorrow. but there s no way that this is going to win. i m winning. announcer: st jude children s research hospital works day after day to find cures and save the lives of children with cancer and other life-threatening diseases. beth stewart: there are treatments that were invented within the walls of this hospital that have continued to improve the cure rates for pediatric cancer, and st. jude s not going to stop until every single kid gets that chance to walk out of the doors of this hospital cancer free. lila: if it weren t for st. jude, i wouldn t be sitting here today. peter: this place has really shown us the strength of what can happen when so many people work together as one. people want to be a part of the cure. announcer: thanks to generous donors like you, families never recei
