Four charged after police seize rifle, narcotics on Shannon Road (3 photos)

Police have arrested and charged four individuals after officers seized a .22 calibre rifle, suspected fentanyl and methamphetamine, and Canadian currency from a Shannon Road residence on Sunday. A news release issued today by the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service states that the estimated street value of the seized narcotics is $15,773. Full text of the news release follows: On Jan. 10, 2021, officers with the Crime Suppression Unit and Emergency Services Unit arrested 43-year-old Steven Boissoneau, 34-year-old Jeannine Recollet, 26-year-old Jesse Stoddart, and 33-year-old Tianna Theriault. As part of an ongoing investigation, officers developed grounds to believe a stolen firearm was in a residence in the 500 block of Shannon Road. At 12:28 a.m. officers executed a search warrant at the residence. Once inside, officers located the four accused and they were arrested.
