Hera Bjork isn’t just a Songvakeppnin favourite. During the winter months, she throws live concerts which often feature a number of special musical guests. 2020 marks the 20th anniversary of her annual Christmas show The Scent Of Christmas. The coronavirus may have put a stop to a physical gathering with a full orchestra at the magnificent Hallgrímskirkja in Reykjavík. However, she isn’t putting a stop to the festivities. Instead, she’s taking the fun online and opening the party to all her fans from across the continent. Speaking exclusively to wiwibloggs, Hera Bjork explains: “Because of corona, we couldn’t go ahead as planned with the original schedule. However, I now invite my fans from all over Europe to join me online for a special festive celebration in Icelandic. Although all the songs are in Icelandic, the melodies are beautiful and the setting is cosy. I will be joined by a team of amazing musicians and wonderful backing singers. T ....
