Uxbridge firm helps provide 2,500 meals for needy during lockdown AN Uxbridge food company, famous for brands like Cheerios, Haagen-Dazs and Old El Paso, has reached its goal of 2,500 home-made meals for those needing them most in London General Mills, of Harman House in George Street, allowed the Thomas Franks Foundation to use its kitchens while most staff worked from home. This initiative was an extension of the firm’s Breakfast Club Network, a national scheme through which General Mills funds free breakfast for 5,000 schoolchildren in the UK. It was also a joint effort with Rise 365, a young people’s charity that distributed the meals.
