The wet and windy weather yesterday, and there was a lot of rain yesterday, swept away, and it has left us with a wind coming more from the north which is maintaining this cold feel. There is sunshine but showers and we have a zone of more cloud and longer spells of rain moving southwards across scotland into northern england, across northern ireland, into wales and parts of the midlands and east anglia.
