The Creative Theatre–Muddy Water Players will hold open auditions for their production of Patrick Barlow’s “The 39 Steps” on March 4, 2023. The auditions will be held at The Playhouse at Museum Villag.
The overall joke of the play: The playwright’s implicit insistence that anything film can do, theater can do better. We, therefore, get exaggerated light, wind and sound effects in “The 39 Steps” from Virginia Stage Company.
