Film star Thandie Newton will be credited as Thandiwe after dropping Zulu spelling during her early career in Hollywood.
She has been known by an anglicised version of her name for the entirety of her hugely successful career. But Thandie Newton has revealed that she will now revert to the original, Zulu spelling of her name, declaring: I m taking back what s mine.
