The republicans pass their plan, the white house says sorry, we re not going to negotiate over that. what s your biggest worry at this moment? well, the change is tax reseats. the tax filings that generates a lot of cash that they use to pay the government s bills, the amount of cash coming in is falling well short of last year and expected. so that means treasury doesn t have as much cash in their bank accounts to pay the bills. so it feels like there s a reasonable possibility that they are going to run out of cash in early june. we ll have to see. it s a bit early. we re getting more tax receipt thfgs. it feels better in the last few days than it did last week, so hopefully we ll have enough cash to get through that early june period. it they do, there are a number of other things in the next kind ....
Motion to reconsider. he was the senator who said, wait a minute, i m a sponsor, but i want 12 weeks not 6 weeks. this is going to be fought out state by state. i think for every sandy sin, there s another one about whether to vote on this. it s about abortion, but it s not just about abortion. it s about elections. it s about being characterized as a party that s too extremism and beholden to maga republican. every third word out of joe biden is about the extremists of maga republicans and that seeps into whether everybody begins to feel that republicans are this way. there s some republicans who see that characterization as a death now. since the dobbs decision, support for abortion rights has gone up some. it s tricked up as people are forced to think about this. politics are forced to think about this. ....
