In November 2022, Cisco announced during an earnings call a restructuring that impacted roughly 5% of its workforce which lead to $600 million in severance and other charges.
Bell s biggest restructuring in about three decades will see about 9% of its workforce laid off and marks the second shakeup since last year, when it announced plans to cut 1,300 workers as revenue from legacy businesses dried up.
Airspan Networks: “In the second quarter of 2023, as part of a strategic review of our operations, the Company implemented a cost reduction and restructuring program (the “2023 Restructuring Program”). The 2023 Restructuring Program was primarily comprised of entering into severance and termination agreements with employees,” Airspan said in its regulatory filing.
"During the quarter, we took actions to rationalize our workforce as we continue to see benefits from rationalizing certain legacy wireline products," Verizon CFO Tony Skiadas said in the company’s latest quarterly earnings call, according to the report.
