The ASI has filed a fresh plea stating that technical reasons are causing delays in the finalisation of the survey report on the Gyanvapi mosque. The report is being compiled by experts who are analyzing data collected through scientific studies and field observations. The interpretation of chemical analysis and the processing of images are also contributing to the time-consuming process. The plea highlights the efforts being made by the ASI to ensure a comprehensive and accurate survey report.
In a detailed notification issued Tuesday, the central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) said that to file an appeal, appellant has to partially pay the penalty or interest out of disputed order, have to pay 12.5% of the disputed tax amount or Rs 25 crore out of which 20% payment has to be done via electronic cash ledger.
