F1 Veteran Grosjean Pumped for Chance To Compete for Victory in INDYCAR

Veteran Formula One driver Romain Grosjean admitted this week he had been struggling to explain to his family why he was so interested in racing in the NTT INDYCAR SERIES in 2021.
That was until a video posted by Will Power on Twitter caught his eye. The camera’s view was from Power’s helmet during preseason testing earlier this week at Sebring (Fla.) International Raceway. Grosjean could hear the sound of the 2.2-liter twin-turbo V6 engine, and he felt the thrill of the road. It spoke to him.

Dale Coyne Racing with Vasser Sullivan introduced returning IndyCar driver Ed Jones to the fold on Wednesday.
While Jones takes one of the team s two seats, the second seat could be waiting for former F1 racer Romain Grosjean.
Jones, who turns 26 in Feb. 12, raced for Coyne in 2017, Chip Ganassi in 2018, and Ed Carpenter in 2019.
NTT IndyCar Series team owner Dale Coyne still has a little work to do to finish out his lineup card for the 2021 season.
And former Haas F1 driver Romain Grosjean is, indeed, on what is a not-so-short list at Dale Coyne Racing for the team s remaining open seat.
