Handling of new housing and growing homelessness. Advocates point to the millions of funding to support services and housing up oaklands homeless. That money was supposed to be used to house people by providing people with poor parties, writing people tricking water. Providing people with an mushing stations. We believe the city wasted that money. The mayor particularly did not follow the direction of city council. Theyve been very specific about how they want that money to be spent. And she spent that money by building stuff sheds. Reporter homeless advocates are critical of tough shed programs calling them unsafe. Attempts to reach oakland mayors libby schoss office was unsuccessful. All the other organizations, they say they can help that they can find shelter for us but they dont. And we are homeless and we live in our cars. My baby is sick. I need help. I love oakland and i cannot stand by and do nothing when i see what is happening. At this point in time many of the marked cars have left and several new cars which are unmarked, investigated vehicles are on the scene. This has the 580 heading into oakland shut down, all the lanes. If you want to get on the 24 you will be able to do that but the back up is huge. If we can turn around here what we will do is show you the situation. The situation is that the cars are being diverted off to the left of your screen which would be going up on the 24, over toward the tunnel but nothing is coming through here nor is it likely to looking at the amount of investigation thats going on. We do not know if there were how many shots were fired, we certainly dont know if anyone was hit. We do know that there are no emergency vehicled on scene. Parish chair, they put it together. It was so dynamic. I will never forget that moment. It was so wonderful. And all the people that came, the music was glorious. All of the soloists i asked to sing from betty and marion in the choir along with kim and then there was janel, a professional singer who sings with a group called sold out band and they had ron coleman i grew up with him at tabor memorial who came from los angeles to participate. And then i had michael ladd, mike cousin who has a quartet and plays the saxophone with many people. Of course, dear lord by john cole train. So all of those who were just wonderful along with my speakers. Fernandez and skyler rhodes and the superintendents.
