It explores the history of wilmington and North Hanover county from the earliest inhabitants of to the 20th century. When people came here, some people described it as an ocean of trees, majestic, tall trees, and these became the bedrock of the regions economy. The trees are called Longleaf Pines. You can still see them today, but they used to cover a huge part of the united states. They have these long pine needles, big pinecones, totally different than anything you would have seen in england if you are coming here fro ....
