Monday, 12 April 2021, 2:18 pm More than 25 health and social service organisations, charities and prominent individuals are today calling on the Government to urgently overhaul the Misuse of Drugs Act and treat all drug usage as a health issue. A host of health and social organisations - including the Medical Association, Public Health Association and Mental Health Foundation - have published an open letter, asking for drug use to be treated as a health issue, not a criminal one.
