Colleyville city council member shares false COVID-19 information on Facebook

A Colleyville City Council member last month shared a public Facebook post containing false information on the number of deaths in the United States in 2020.
Tammy Nakamura added a comment saying that there were “no more deaths this year than in the previous five years.” That is inaccurate, according to preliminary data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
