Chennai: On May 2, as Tamil Nadu waited for the results of the assembly elections, patients of COVID-19 at Chengalpet Government Hospital (GH) began dying.
The relatives of those patients believed that something had gone terribly wrong, but were too dazed to question the doctors beyond a point. In any case, their focus was on the release of their relativesâ bodies, a procedure that took much of the day.
